Although we do use many timber species for our creations, when it comes to high performance timber windows and doors, Accoya is our timber of choice. Its 50 Year warranty above ground says all you need to know about the confidence the industry has in this product. It is also incredibly stable meaning that paint finishes stay looking great for longer and fiddly operation is thing of the past.

We build to exacting standards and tolerances so that the niggles and frustrations of older joinery are a thing of the past. This also allows us to discreetly add advanced weatherproofing making our windows and doors some of the highest thermally performing in the industry. With all that in mind we are still passionate about maintaining the beautiful sight lines and slender forms of the traditional joinery we are replicating. In short we like to have our cake and eat it.

Although we like things precise we also like them as authentic as possible, that’s why all our joinery is hand finished with either clear coat to show off the timber or linseed oil paints using natural pigments. This is not only a nod to the heritage of the pieces we make but it also protects them as well.
