Many sash windows have lasted hundreds of years and we believe that upgrading them shouldn’t be taken lightly. Clearly their method of construction has stood the test of time and hence we don’t see any reason to change that method. We do however believe that with modern machinery and technology new sash windows should be effortless to operate, airtight. and thermally efficient.

Through a lot of research and trial and error we have developed a window that can do all of the above, built in the traditional way using solid timber joined with mortice and tenons. We have incorporated discreetly not one but two seals as well as A+ rated double or triple glazing. All of this results in a window that will not only satisfy the strictest conservation officer but also please the most enthusiastic energy conservator.
